Music marketing companies are rampant with inauthentic/artificial streaming, playlist placement, and services against Spotify's TOS.

We never jeopardize your brand or ours and stick with authentic strategies.
See Spotify's Terms here.

Spotify Playlist Pitching

  • We pitch your song to user-curated Spotify playlists that are genre, sub-genre, mood, and function-specific to your song. All pitches are for voluntary consideration.
  • Example: If your song was a pop rock with a motivational message and feel, we'd be considering pitching to: pop, pop rock, motivational, and workout playlists.

Spotify Ads Promo

  • We design custom video ads for your song and run paid ads to get traffic to your music.
  • Ads increase song saves, follows, and your chances of triggering Spotify's algorithm.
  • All ads are run through social media apps. Which we choose for each artist varies per their style & audience.
    • Example: We run Facebook ads for southern gospel and Instagram/TikTok ads for hip hop.
  • All costs for ads is included in the Platinum, Emerald, and Diamond tiered promotions.

Why Spotify Marketing Matters

  • Spotify has 500m+ monthly listeners
  • Triggering algorithmic growth is much easier on Spotify compared to other streaming platforms.
  • Growing on Spotify increases chances of being added to editorials & label/distro offers.

Results of Spotify Promotion:

  1. Authentic enthusiasm from curators about your music
  2. Maximum exposure to the right audience & listeners instead of the biggest (yet random/non-algorithmic triggering) audience and...
  3. Relevant engagement that gives you your best chance of saves/followers/conversions to help you trigger the Spotify algorithm.

No Guarantees, But Great Batting Average

  • Offering guarantees of streams for money is against Spotify terms.
    • (Btw, this is most commonly done via artificial streaming and playlist placement - guaranteeing playlist adds in exchange for payment.)🗑️💀
  • The Problem: Most companies that don't offer guarantees get bad (or inconsistent) results.
  • Our Solution: We review songs before campaigns & only take on songs we believe in and think will do well.
    • We also turn down songs (10+ per week) that we think are insufficient quality or would promote better via some other strategy or with another company.
  • The Results of our approach:
    • 80%+ average acceptance rate from curators about your music (over 4x the average marketing company).
    • 98% response rate from curators because they only receive relevant submissions.
    • A respect of your investment and you.
      • **Note: If we don't hear from a curator, we always will pitch to new curators.

How It Works/Next Steps

  1. Send your song to us via our form.
  2. Get an email with suggestions for next steps.
  3. Order & schedule your promo.
  4. Do nothing else & get results. ✨🥳
  5. Receive an email with curator feedback, playlist adds from the promo, & suggestions for continued short & long-term growth.

Why Targeting Matters

  • The Wrong Approach: Most marketing agencies have a goal of reaching the most streams by targeting broadly with playlist pitching.
    • This results in getting added to random, overly diverse playlists that mess up your algorithm. 🚫👎
    • Example: "Summer Hits 2023" (lol) alongside country, tropical house, indie pop, etc.
  • The Right Approach: Our goal is reaching the most relevant audience by targeting specifically with playlist pitching.
    • This results in enthusiastic curators that add your song to playlists and listeners that become fans for the long haul. ✅👍💯

Reports & Long-Term Growth

  • Grow exponentially through a 1-9 page PDF with:
    • Real, honest feedback voluntarily provided by some (not all) curators from your campaign
    • Profile optimization suggestions for easy, immediate improvement.
    • Long-term growth suggestions directly related to your artistry and results from your campaign from a world-class team.

Spotify Promo FAQ

Which genres do you promote?

We promote songs in a wide variety of genres, including pop, rap, indie pop, rock, country, jazz, Christian, gospel, worship, broadway, alternative, folk, and EDM. We also promote instrumental songs, as well as songs in Spanish.

How soon do you start pitching to playlists?

We begin pitching your song on release day or scheduled promotion date if your song is already out on Spotify.

How are songs added to playlists?

  • We pitch your song to user curators to see if they want to add it. Their consideration is totally up to them, including if they want to add the song or not, where they add it on their playlist, how long they keep it on their playlist, etc.
  • We don’t do playlist placement (paying curators for spots on playlists), as that’s against Spotify’s Terms of Use.
  • Additionally, we do not pitch to algorithmic playlists (these types of playlists can only be triggered by AI through your song performing well in a specific category).

How soon do curators add songs to playlists?

Most curators respond within 1-2 days of your Spotify promotion start date. Some take 4-7 days. The longest we’ve ever had someone take to response is 35 days, but this is rare. If someone doesn't respond to us, we pitch to someone new.

How long will my song stay on playlists?

The average playlist curator in our network keeps songs on their playlist for 2-12 weeks. Other curators in our network keep songs on for 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, etc. It all organically varies and is totally up to their preference.

How large are the playlists in your network?

The playlists we pitch to typically range from 1.5k to 300k+ followers, with most between 1.5k-20k. We sometimes target smaller playlists to keep campaigns targeted if a song's appeal or market is more niche - the goal of this being to optimize your campaign for triggering the algorithm. We prioritize playlist engagement and relevance to the artist/song over playlist follower size, which yields higher acceptance rates and curator response rates.

Do you pitch to editorial playlists?

While we do not pitch to editorial playlists for our services, you'll get a free mini-course right after your Spotify campaign purchase with guidance on how to improve your editorial pitches - not just for Spotify, but for all DSPs!

Do you use bots?

We have never used bots or engaged in any against-Spotify-Terms-Of-Use techniques (i.e. playlist placement, payola, etc.). Additionally, we have never had a single song we’ve promoted be flagged by Spotify for artificial streaming.

We don't jeopardize your brand or ours and stick with authentic strategies.
See Spotify's Terms here.

Do you offer post-campaign analytics?

We don't provide any post-campaign analytic reporting for the following reasons:
  1. Spotify For Artists’ reporting in their dashboard is extremely transparent, detailed, and free. Part of how we keep our costs accessible to our clientele by not charging for any “overlapping” services. We don't want to charge people for something they can already get for free.
  2. Many times, a song is growing for reasons outside of our promotion during the time of promotion. Maybe the artist is touring, or the song got added to an editorial playlist, or the artist had a viral social media post, etc. Not providing reporting eliminates the possibility of unintentionally falsely claiming credit for the growth of a song.
